Eight years after he is sentenced, drug trafficker’s 25-year jail term cut by 12 years
8 October 2015 • In another unusual case, our client who had previously been sentenced to 25 years’ jail and 24 strokes of the cane, had his original sentences set aside when we successfully argued that his original convictions were wrong. Our client was released some 2 months after the High Court and the Prosecution agreed with our submissions on the law.
