PP v TCT
21 March 2017 • Our team conducted a trial for one of the charges, involving criminal intimidation (the Defendant pleaded guilty to another charge of voluntarily causing hurt).
Our team conducted a trial for one of the charges, involving criminal intimidation (the Defendant pleaded guilty to another charge of voluntarily causing hurt). The Defendant’s elderly mother had alleged that he had made a death threat towards her. However, there was inconsistency about the exact phrasing of the threat made, and the Complainant was also known to have made false allegations against other persons before. The Defendant was acquitted of this charge.
