Someone once told Lokman that law school was like a pie-eating contest where the prize is more pie. Despite this, he managed to graduate from SMU’s Juris Doctor (JD) programme cum laude and decided that the pie was not too bad.
Before being admitted to the Bar, Lokman spent more than a decade in public service, about half of which was spent ensuring that migrant workers were not exploited by their employers, and the other half dedicated to public communications, assisting in the dissemination of public policy to Singaporeans.
Lokman also has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and a Diploma in Multimedia Computing from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
